Consumers Have New Opportunity to Win Tiger Woods' Buick Lucerne "Tiger Wins" Second Buick Lucerne for Lucky Golf Fan

Detroit, MI – With the PGA Master’s Tournament about to get under way, golf fans have their newest opportunity to register to win Tiger Woods’ 2006 Buick Lucerne courtesy vehicle through the Buick Lucerne promotional campaign, “Tiger Wins You Could Win.”

When Tiger won the Ford Championship with a 3-under par-69 one-shot victory, he assured victory for someone else: Dan Bowman, 59, of Appleton, WI. Bowman was selected at random among the more than 250,000 registrants at Buick.com to win Tiger’s Buick Lucerne CXS. More than 1.7 million people have visited Buick.com since the promotion began in January.

“I’m a huge golf fan and I was surfing some golf websites when I saw the link to the Buick site and the contest,” Bowman related. “Because I had just helped my father-in-law with the purchase of a Lucerne, I knew it was a great vehicle and so I entered – just a few days before the tournament.” Bowman and his wife, Sue, also a golf fan, will have a chance to meet Tiger later this year as part of the prize package.

The up-level Lucerne CXS features a black exterior and cashmere leather interior, a standard 275-horsepower 4.6L Northstar V-8 engine, heated washer fluid, heated and cooled seats, Magnetic Ride Control, six standard air bags and Buick Accessories including a wood steering wheel and shift knob, 18-inch chrome wheels with a 10-spoke design, a unique exhaust tip, spoiler and more. Tiger is autographing a special plaque for the vehicle’s interior, which is validated by Upper Deck. The Lucerne CXS retails for $34,990.

This is the second Lucerne awarded through the “Tiger Wins, You Could Win” campaign. The first winner, Ira Jacobs from Decatur, GA, received his Lucerne after Tiger’s win at the Buick Invitational in January. The campaign continues through PGA Championship in August.

Consumers can enter the contest through Buick.com. Registration occurs each time that Tiger plays in the US through the PGA Championship in August, including the Master’s Tournament happening later this week.

Should Tiger not finish in first place, Buick will randomly select and send one person and a guest from the pool of registrants for each PGA tournament to an all-expenses-paid trip to Los Angeles for the grand finale. They will join the other Lucerne winners, have a chance to meet Tiger and compete in a “closest to the pin” contest for a final Lucerne .
