DETROIT - Each of Buick 's three title-sponsored PGA Tour events will be nationally televised in 2003.

Buick's season got underway in February as Buick Touring Pro Tiger Woods returned to tournament action following a two-month layoff. Woods captured his second career Buick Invitational title at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, Calif., his second consecutive Buick championship (2002 Buick Open). The early rounds (Feb. 13-14) were viewed on the USA Network, while the weekend action (Feb. 15-16) was covered by CBS Sports. The final round (6.9) saw a 92% ratings increase over 2002.

In June, Chris Smith will look to make it two consecutive wins at the Buick Classic at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, New York. USA Network will carry the opening rounds (June 19-20), while ABC will broadcast the weekend action (June 21-22).

Buick Touring Pro Tiger Woods can become the first player since Tony Lema ('64,'65) to win two consecutive Buick Open titles if he defends his crown at the 2003 Buick Open at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Mich. USA Network will cover the first two rounds (July 31, Aug. 1), while CBS Sports will broadcast the weekend action (August 2,3). Saturday's CBS coverage of the 2002 Buick Open was the highest rated (3.7) third round coverage in tournament history.
